It  is a steamed dumpling that consists of an external covering of  rice flour  and filled with sweet substance known as chaku (concentrated sugarcane juice/ molasses).  In this festival god of grains, Annapurna is worshiped to thank for good harvesting.  In health point of view  hot Yomari keeps body warm in winter providing carbohydrate and sugar.
