Two workers go missing after falling on Trishuli, three rescued

Chitwan, April 25 : Labourers working in  bridge connecting Devghat in Thimura of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 have gone missing after falling on Trishuli.

Three people have been rescued. According to Chief Superintendent of Police Om Prasad Adhikari of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the workers had fallen while working on the bridge at around 9 this morning.

He informed that two people have gone missing in Trishuli and three people have been rescued.

The rescued are being brought to Bharatpur for treatment. The search for the missing has begun. Part of the bridge under construction had broken on April 7 and fell into the river.

Chief of the Division Road Office, Chitwan, E Krishna Raj Adhikari said that he had received information that the workers of Jalap Nepal, who were doing iron work, had fallen. He said that the details of the incident have not been revealed yet.
