Two rhinos died in Chitwan National Park

Chitwan, Jan 22: Two rhinos have died in Chitwan National Park due to natural causes. One baby and another male rhinoceros have died in the area where wild buffalo is located in the old Padampur of the park.

According to Lokendra Adhikari, information officer of the park, a one-year and six-month-old male was found dead near on Wednesday. He informed that the child was presumed to have died due to cold as there were no injuries on his body.

Similarly, a rhino was found dead in Belshaharghat area of ​​the park on Thursday afternoon. The 30-year-old male rhino died of natural causes, the official said. The horns and hooves of both the rhinos found dead are safe, according to the park.

Meanwhile, 22 rhinos have died in Saunayata National Park.
