Okhaldhunga: Three people died on the spot and 3 other sustained injuries when a  jeep was hit by a falling rock in Narayanthan area of Siddhicharan municipality.

A rock was knocked down by a dozer from the hill while constructing the road and had fallen on the roof of the jeep with the number plate Ko.1.Ja 3569.

The deceased have been identified as 7-year-old Yunisha Koirala of Siddhicharan Municipality-1, 10-year-old Ishav Koirala of the same place and 30-year-old Hem Bahadur Magar of Manebhanjyang Municipality-1 Moli, said Police Inspector Lank Shrestha.

Meanwhile, three others who were injured have been taken to the hospital for the treatment.
