Kathmandu, Jan 12: The Supreme Court has rejected the writ petition filed against the decision of the Government of Nepal, Curriculum Development Center to implement new curriculum in school education.
With this order, the way has been opened to implement social studies and life skills education in class 11 from this academic session.
A single bench of Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana passed the order today. On October 14, Bhagwata Aryal had filed a writ petition against the Government of Nepal, Curriculum Development Center, demanding non-implementation of the new curriculum.
The new curriculum has been implemented as per the National Curriculum Draft for School Education, 2076 BS.
