Pokhara, April 19 : The special session of the Gandaki Province assembly has been called for April 26.
As demanded by the main opposition parties including the Nepali Congress, the state chief Amik Sherchan has convened the convention for April 26.
Hariraj Pakharel, secretariat of the state assembly, informed that a letter has been received for the meeting to be held on April 26 at 1 pm.
On April 15, no-confidence motion was registered against the government. It has the signatures of the parliamentarians of three parties including the Nepali Congress. Rajma has not signed it.
Those parties had registered the petition of the state chief demanding a special convention on April 26.
After returning to Pokhara on Saturday, the state chief Sherchan convened the convention.
