Rs 50 million to go in province disaster fund, CM Nepali to visit Manang today

Pokhara: The Gandaki Province government has decided to put Rs 50 million in the state level disaster fund for the time being. It has been decided to keep the amount for rescue, relief and management as the districts of the state have been effected due to flood and landslides.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Gandaki Disaster Management Executive Committee chaired by Gandaki Chief Minister Krishnachandra Nepali on Thursday morning.

A team including the Chief Minister is going to Manang on Thursday to observe the damage caused by floods and landslides in different places of Manang. The Chief Minister is going to Manang with relief materials after managing a helicopter under the coordination of the Home Ministry.
