Pokhara: Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s cadres have burnt the effigy of Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya.

Protesting against the removal of the photo banner of the king Prithvi Narayan Shah, RPP activists burnt the effigy in Prithvichowk.

A large number of cadres were gathered with torch rally.

The controversy started when a group removed the banner of the king kep along with the statue of martyr, Lakhan Thapa.
