Pokhara: Food Management and Trading Company Limited has established a sales center at Prithvichowk in Pokhara to sell rice in cheap price.

Earlier, the Gandaki regional office was sel rice at an affordable price to the general public from Birauta.

The sale of rice at reasonable and subsidized prices has been started to play a role in controlling the market price.

According to Ranjana KC, information officer of the regional office, consumers can purchase Steam Mansulu rice at 1,750 rupees per 25 kg bag and Aruwa Sona Mansuli rice at 1,539 rupees per 30 kg bag from the center.

The company has urged  pubic  to take advantage of the subsidized services provided by the Government of Nepal.
