Kathmandu: The government has formed a probe committee to investigate on the extra fare charged to travelers in international flights.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a-five member committee led by Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) director general Rajan Pokharel.

Joint secretary at the Ministry Taranath Adhikari shared that the probe committee was formed to carry out the investigation as some travel agencies reportedly charged additional ticketing fare for international flights of late.
