Kathmandu, Jan 11: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has urged the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to organise the supply of power in the country, while keeping the consumers informed with right and timely notice.

Considering the increasing complaints of power cuts as of late, the OPMCM has directed the NEA to adopt all possible measures to address the just grievances of the consumers.

The directive was issued at a discussion held between the OPMCM and the NEA authorities here today.

The Prime Minister’s development management expert Gajendra Thapaliya, OPMCM secretary Toya Narayan Gyawali, Secretary at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Dinesh Kumar Ghimire and NEA Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya and NEA Kathmandu valley distribution centre heads took part in the discussion.
