Kathmandu:  Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda has received a vote of confidence from the Parliament.

On Monday, 172 MPs voted in favor of the proposal that he said he had the confidence of the House of Representatives.

Out of 262 MPs present in the Parliament, 89 MPs voted against the motion of confidence and one MP remained neutral.

UML party is the opposition in the parliament.
