Jumla: The outbreak of viral fever in Jumla has come under control. One person has died of fever here and several others are sick.
In the district, especially in Deyarpata located in Kankasundari rural municipality-7, its outbreak was seen more.
The team of Public Health Office and Karnali Institute of Health Sciences has reached there to treat 53 patients of viral fever in that area and local residents of the ward.
According to the health centre, eight of the 53 patients are in serious condition and two of them have been taken to the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences for further treatment.
It is said that after the treatment, the health of the local residents has improved and the condition of the patient is also returning to normal. Sumai, the information officer of the Public Health Service Office Jumla, said that besides fever, symptoms such as eye, head and throat pain appeared.
