NSU withdrew indefinite educational strike in Pokhara, Biplav’s strike shutdown schools across the country

Pokhara, Feb 26: Nepal Student Union (NSU) affiliated to Nepali Congress party  has called off the indefinite period educational strike which was starting from tomorrow in Kaski. Meanwhile all schools across the country including Pokhara were shut down today after Biplav group had called one day educational strike. The decision to call off the indefinite period strike came to end after talk was started between the student union and administration says Saroj KC of NSU.

The strike was called after  leader of NSU, Rajesh Hamal was arrested and arrest warrant was issued against other 8 students after the complaint was filed by the student leaders affiliated to ruling party in a case of clash in PN campus on Thursday. Birat Dawadi and Bishal Panta who are affiliated to ANNFSU of ruling Nepal Communist party were injured in the clash.  [The print edition of this news has also been published today in  our daily, Aadarsha Samaj.]
