Lalitpur: The Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is going to launch a satellite on April 17. The satellite was developed with the support of Kyutech University of Japan and has been named ‘NepaliSat-1’, which is a first of its kind for Nepal.
NAST Vice-Chancellor, Sanobabu Shrestha, said that preparations were underway to set up the satellite some 400 kilometres above the sky.
Three of the five people, who died after a passenger bus heading towards Kathmandu from Kakarvitta of Jhapa met with an accident and fell into the Trishuli river this morning, have been identified. Of them four died on the spot while one died on the way to hospital, police said.
