Kathmandu, March 5 : The Sixth Annual “Nepal-Pakistan Friendship T20 Cricket Tournament 2021” was inaugurated on Friday.
Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan Bidya Sunder Shakya marked the beginning of the 10-day event which has the participation of 12 teams.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Shakya highlighted the potential of cricket and sports in bringing the youth of two countries, together.
He appreciated the Embassy of Pakistan’s initiative for organizing this annual event.
On the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah expressed his satisfaction with the growing popularity of this annual event among Nepali Youth.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude on 14 March.
