Myagdi (women) and Tanahu (men) lifted the title in the CM Cup Volleyball Tournament

Pokhara, Feb 20: Tanahu district has won the men’s title in the Chief Minister’s Cup Gandaki province level volleyball tournament. Tanahu defeated Syangja 3-2 in the final set on Saturday to become the champion.

Meanwhile Myagdi district has won the women’s title in the competition organized by Kaski District Volleyball Association. In the final match played on Saturday, Myagdi defeated Parbat 3-0 in a straight set to become the champion.

Both the winner Tanahu (men side) and Myagdi (women side) won Rs 2 lakh cash prize and medals.

Milan Chand Thakuri of Tanahun has been declared the best in the men’s side of the Chief Minister’s Cup Gandaki state level volleyball tournament.

On the women’s side of the competition, Aruna Shahi of Myagdi became the best player. Both of them received Rs 5000 cash prize.
