Chitwan, 11 Dec: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section will remain closed for 4 hours, between 11 am to 3 pm for two weeks effecting from December 13. The meeting of the Security Committee of the District Administration Office (DAO), Chitwan held here today has decided to close the 36-km road section from 11 am to 3 pm as per the demand made by the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project Office for carrying out road repair and maintenance works.
The road section is one of a major routes connecting Kathmandu with the Terai region. The passenger buses have to halt at place called Pandhra Kilo while cargo vehicles will be halted at Dasdhunga during the closure time. Likewise, passenger buses coming to Nararangadh from Muglin would be stopped in Muglin and Benitar while cargo vehicles will be stopped at Lebatar and Aabukhaireni.
