Pokhara: Roshni Chhetri aka Aliza (aged 25), a journalist from Pokhara, has passed away.

She was found burning in her house located in New Road on Monday morning and said to be as self immolation.

Doctors declared her dead at around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Western Regional Hospital

Her post-mortem was yesterday and cremated according to tradition. According to the police, the incident is being investigated.

She started working from Machhapuchhre FM. She also worked in Parichaya media and Annapurna FM.

Currently, she was pursuing her master’s degree in journalism. She got married 14 months ago
