Kathmandu-Dhaka bus service to start soon

Kathmandu, Jan 15: Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Vansidhar Mishra said that work was underway to enhance diplomatic, people-to-people, education, health, trade, transport (air and road) relations between the two countries.

During a virtual meeting on Nepal-Bangladesh relations and trade organized by the Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Association, he informed that Kathmandu-Dhaka bus service and Biratnagar-Bangladesh air service would be launched soon.

Prof. Sheikh Mahhomad Elon of Bangladesh stressed on the need for the two countries to work together for the development of education and health. Stating that Nepali students are hardworking and honest, Dr. Jahrul Islam suggested Nepal to increase investment in education and health sector.

Prof. Dr. Abdus Sattar expressed the belief that the two countries would be more comfortable in transport, agriculture, transportation, environment and other issues if they move forward with their relations with India.
