Myagdi, May 15: The Annapurna rural Municipality of Myagdi has re-opened a 25-bed isolation room in a building used by the Nepal Army in Narchang after the second wave of corona (virus) spread with the new variant.

The Corona Hospital, which was established last month, was closed in February as the number of patients had decreased.

The Mystery and Ghalemdikhola Hydropower Projects were constructed by the Hydropower Project to house the Nepal Army camp for storage and security of explosives required for the construction. After the construction of the project, those buildings became unusable.

After the relocation of the army camp, the vacated building has been renovated to make it as an isolation centre.
