India to resume domestic flights from Monday and conduct class 10 exam

New Delhi, May 20: Domestic flights in India will resume from Monday, the Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said today.

All flights were suspended in March when the nation went in lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19. The Civil Aviation.has informed all the airports and airlines to get ready for the first flight on 25th May.

Meanwhile, Home Minister of India, Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the government will conduct class 10 ad 12 exam within the lockdown period. Wearing of masks by students and teacher has been made mandatory said Hindi news channel NDTV India.

The centre had received request from state government to conduct exams. All states have been permitted to provide special buses for the students to reach the exam.

It is to be noted that India has extended lockdown until May 31.
