Jhapa: The Ministry of Health has started testing for HIV, Malaria and Tuberculosis along with Covid at the Health Desk placed at the Mechi bridge of Kakdvitta, Eastern border.

In the past three years ago, an office was established at the mouth of the Mechi Bridge to check for Covid-19, and on the instructions of the ministry, testing for this disease has also been started.

Lab assistant Shant Bhandari, who is under the Ministry, informed that if there is any suspicion of people coming from third countries including India, they will be checked.
