Tanahu, May 15: Gorkha Welfare Trust Nepal has provided health supplies to Damauli Hospital and Vyas Municipality of the district.
Under the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Program, the organization has provided health materials to the Isolation Center run by Damauli Hospital and the Municipality at the Agriculture Development Bank building with the objective of helping in the prevention and control of corana virus.
On Saturday, Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Program Director Deepak Kumar Shrestha handed over aid materials to Damauli Hospital Medical Superintendent Sunil Poudel.
Shrestha informed that the hospital has been provided 21 types of essential health items worth Rs. 367,960 for the control of corona virus.
According to Shrestha, the organization has provided PPE sets, face shields, N95 masks, thermal guns, medical gowns, cleaner safety gowns, surgical masks, hand washing liquids, glovesm sanitizers, gum boots, antigen testing kits and other health items.
On the occasion, Vyas Mayor Baikuntha Neupane thanked the Gorkha Welfare Trust for providing various health items to the municipality.
