Sadhan Ramjali, Myagdi, Sept.27: Annapurna Rural Municipality Office of Myagdi district has shifted 23 families reeling under the risk of landslides in Kopchepani-4 to secured place.
The edges of Kopchepani has been eroded by Kaligandaki river, putting the lives of villagers in risk. The rural municipality has shifted them to Bhalebas of the same ward inside the tarpaulins.
The vulnerable area was inspected by ward chief, Dam Bdr, Garbuja Pun and other officers and then they were shifted today. The tarpaulins have been set in private property of some locals.
District Administration Office has provided 15 tarpaulins and rolls of mattress. Locals have shifted along with their important documents, clothes and food grains.
