Pokhara: CPN-Unified Socialist candidate Dhanraj Acharya has won the mayorship of Pokhara Metropolitan City from the alliance. Dhanraj has received 58,893 votes. Meanwhile his competitor Krishna Thapa received 52,848 votes
Meanwhile Manju Gurung the candidate from UML party has won the deputy mayorship of the metrocity. She received 60,546 votes, Her competitor Kopila Ranabhat of Nepali Congress party received 56,663 votes.
A total of 143,226 votes were cast in Pokhara metropolis with 27,712 voters. The counting of votes has been completed in Pokhara after 12 days.
In Pokhara, which has 33 wards, Congress has won 23 wards. Similarly, CPN-UML has won 9 wards while an independent candidate from Ward No. 22 has won the ward chairmanship.
