Syangja: One school has been closed for three days after two students were diagnosed with corona infection. The school, which was closed for a long time due to corona infection, was closed for three days after the corona was confirmed in two students studying in class 9 within 15 days of reopening.

A student of class 9 of Saakhar Mohami Secondary School in Chapakot Municipality-6 of Syangja was diagnosed with fever, cold and other symptoms.

“We tested the corona at a nearby health post because a 9th grader had symptoms such as fever, cold and headache,” said Pricipal Deepak Bastakoti. After the corona was confirmed in that student, the antigen test was done in other 10 students. Among them, one  more tested positive.

According to Bastakoti, the school has been closed for three days from today as per the decision of the School Management Committee and Chapakot Municipal Education Committee to prevent the spread of the infection to other students after the corona was confirmed in two female students.
