Kathmandu: A total of 934 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
This includes 498 detected through RT-PCR and 436 through Antigen testing process. A total of 5351 samples were tested using both the methods, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
During the same period, 470 people recovered from the infection. However, one person succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll so far to 11,972 in the country.
Presently, the number of active cases stands at 5,686 with 5,509 in home-based isolation, 177 in institutional isolation, 47 in ICU and 3 undergoing treatment with the support of ventilator, adds the Ministry.
Meanwhile, a total of 32,534 were vaccinated against COVID-19 today.
