Kathmandu: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song had a courtesy meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayankaji Shrestha.

In the meeting held today at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, mutual relations, the relationship between the two countries, and the projects being promoted by China in Nepal were discussed.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha and the Chinese Ambassador congratulated each other and wished them a successful tenure, informed the Secretary of the Ministry Keshav Kumar Sharma who participated in the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha also urged the Chinese side to speed up the work of expanding the Kalanki-Chabahil road section of the ring road, which has not been progressed for a long time. The Chinese side requested the Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha to remove some obstacles at the project site immediately.
