Kathmandu, Sept.30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the clean feed or advertisement-less transmission would begin as per the law from coming October 23.

Talking to a delegation led by Chairperson of Media Alliance Nepal Bhaskarraj Rajkarnikar at his official residence in Baluwatar today, he said the government would not hesitate in enforcing the law.

Prime Minister Oli, who also holds the portfolio of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, said that the legislation on Right to Information was not introduced to create a trap of rumours and appealed for mutual cooperation to move ahead.

According to the PM’s press advisor Surya Thapa, the Prime Minister on the occasion assured to ensure physical security of journalists and also provide support and protection in other areas as far as possible.
