Cabinet decides not to hold SEE exam, schools to send internal evaluation marks

Pokhara, May 31: The cabinet meeting has decided not to take SEE exam this year. Internal evaluation marks sent by the school to Education Development and Coordination Unit (EDCU)  of respective district will be sent to  Exam Controlling Office to change into the grades/GPA for the SEE certificate.

Talking to Nepal Television, Education Minister, Krishna Gopal Shrestha said that the procedure of internal evaluation can be made by the National Examination Board. The decision of the government will be published in the Nepal Gazette.

EDCU will soon give deadline to schools to send internal marks.

In view of the outbreak of the COVID-19, the Secondary School Exam (SEE) to qualify Grade 10 students scheduled to begin from March 27  was postponed, over fear of Corona Virus.
