Kathmandu: Election Commission has said that it will hold by-elections will be held on April 23, Sunday.

Earlier, the Commission had decided to hold by-elections in Chitwan Region No. 2  on April 23. 

But as 2 more places are vacant to choose the parliamentarians, the Commission will election on the same day.

After Ramchandra Paudel of Nepali Congress was elected as the President, Tanahun Region No. 1 has no representative.

Similarly, on Friday, Ramsahay Prasad Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party was elected as the vice president and his constituency Bara 2 is also vacant.
