Biz. bodies of Pokhara warned govt. to defy lockdown if it is not relaxed

Pokhara, June 3: Industrialist and business entrepreneurs  of Pokhara have demanded to ease lockdown and gradually open the business sectors.

They have also given warning to state government that they will disobey the lockdown if it is not relaxed.

Stating the life of business people have gone below the sustainability level, a joint memorandum was submitted to the office of the chief minister by people representing Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gandaki, Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

They have demanded to issue routine to open business sector in particular time according to its nature. In memorandum they have also complained against the ‘police tackle’ while going to banks and buy essential goods.

‘Take action against the culprit’

Meanwhile organizations representing the private sector and consumer rights have demanded to take severe action against those involved in dumping fruits and veggies imported outside the Kaski,  Large amount of fresh fruits and veggies were destroyed in ward no. 15 and 33 in the initiations of ward chief.
