7 arrested with stolen motorcycles in Jhapa

Jhapa, Jan 12: The Area Police Office, Anarmani, has arrested seven persons involved in motorcycle theft.

According to Mukunda Rijal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Anarmani, the gang involved were involved in theft  by renting a room in Birtamod, Jhapa.


In total, 14 motorcycles and a scooter were recovered from the suspects.

The arrestees areL Roshan Tamang alias Kshitij, 22, of Ilam Mai Municipality-2, Roshan Budhathoki, 20, of the same place, Roshan Giri, 30, of Mai Municipality-6, Rajesh Giri, 30, of the same place, Manish Giri, 20, of the same place,  Pasang Tamang (Roshan) of Panchthar  and Sandeep Limbu, 22, of Taplejung.

They have been arrested from different parts of the district along with the motorcycles that were stolen on different dates.
