Kathmandu, August 9 : A total of 380 individuals tested positive for coronavirus in last 24 hours across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The infected cases were confirmed from the PCR tests of 8,515 people from different labs in the country, Spokesperson of the Ministry Dr Jageshwor Gautam said.
With this, total number of coronavirus infected people in the country reached 22,972. Ninety-two fresh cases were detected in the Kathmandu Valley today.
Of them, 90 are from Kathmandu and two from Lalitpur.
In a regular press briefing, the Ministry shared that 40 people returned home after complete recovery from the virus in last 24 hours.
With this, the number of people discharged from the hospital after winning battle against the virus reached 16,353.
Likewise, there are 11,038 people in quarantines across the country so far.
