Syangja, Oct.27: A total of 351 earthquake-damaged school buildings have been constructed in Syangja.
Chief of the Reconstruction Authority District Project Implementation Unit (Education) Syangja, Ram Prasad Acharya said that construction of 351 school buildings in the district damaged by the 2072 BS earthquake has been completed.
The construction of 351 buildings of 275 schools has been completed by the District Education Office Syangja and Reconstruction Authority from the fiscal year 2017/18 to the end of the fiscal year 2018/19, said Acharya.
Four buildings were constructed with a grant from the Saudi government, while the rest were constructed through Reconstruction Authority.
Along with the construction and maintenance of school buildings, construction of toilets and management of drinking water has also been arranged on the basis of need.
