23 died in Delhi in violence between protesters and supporters of citizenship bill

Delhi, Feb 26:  The death toll in North-East Delhi violence between pro and anti CAA protesters rose to 23 on Wednesday, according to NDTV news channel. On Tuesday, the death toll was 13. Curfew was imposed last evening in violence-hit areas of the North-East district to bring the situation under control.  Twenty three people, including a Delhi Police head constable, have died so far in the violence that broke out on Monday. More than 200 people were injured including journalist of NDTV and ABP news tv . Property worth rupees millions were gutted in fire.  Scooters, cars, houses and shops were set on fire.    With input from NDTV, Photo: India Today
